We need to be given more freedom to wear what we want, express ourselves how we want, and not feel ashamed about doing this!

I strongly support this movement and it's time the dress code gets a renovation. At the ages of 11,12,13 and 14, we should not be told that we are sexual objects, and change our actions accordingly. We can't control how others will react to our clothing, so instead of telling us to dress appropriately, tell them to act appropriately. When a girl is sent home because of the way that she dresses, it teaches them that the way they look is of more concern than their education. Also, dress codes can be said to be enforced as means of self respect. Self respect isn't about wearing clothes that cover up, it's about wearing clothes that you feel confident in. I hope we get 1,000 signatures!
