I heard lot of situations where there family members passed away and they don’t have re entry and in the case it happens on weekend when the GNIB office closed lot of people returned India without any hopes that’s so bad after paying thousands of euros

Get rid of this reentry visa. I have travelled a lot and haven't seen this anywhere else. why can't they grant a visa along with gnib renewal

Either do away completely with the separate re-entry visa process or keep the current structure. A by post only system with a 5-6 week processing time window is just not acceptable and feasible.

Should take away re entry system at least for stamp 1g stamp 1 and stamp 4 people keeping in mind that students should have minimum attendance

Hi,
We should move towards digital , not away . Embassy should implement ease process. We are spending almost 5-6 months only in work-permit and visa process. This is more huddle process.

The process of renewing GNIB and re-entry visa has been ridiculously complicated and stressful. Let's "improve" the process, leave applicants with no passport for 5-6 weeks and hopefully it won't get lost anywhere.

The most ridiculous immigration system I have ever seen in any country. First of all it will take 2-3 weeks to renew your visa for one year and then another 5 weeks for renentry. 2 months are gone. Then you cannot travel to any schengen country in the last 3 months. Hence you are only left with 6 months to travel anywhere in Europe that too if your luck favours. Why can't you just give the re-entry visa with the actual visa by charging extra then and there.

I strongly believe, they need to reconsider this decision and also speed up the application process. Emergency situation may arise or an applicant may need to travel regularly on business. So immigration office has to consider these scenarios.
