Abolish re-entry visa law in Ireland

This should be abolished. Why this discrimination

I agree, 6 weeks time would be too long of a wait if traveling has to done immediately but does not categorise as emergency.

This is very bias and Unthoughtful step towards NON-EU citizens. Better step would be when GNIB solves the purpose of re-entry as well

Online appointments should be allowed.

Belive ir not but this is really not fair ..

Reentry visa should be merged with residence permit so that residence permit holder would be able to travel automatically without any visa which is inline with other European countries. There is no rationale behind reentry visa for residence permit holders. It is unfair to hold the passport for few weeks while re-entry visa application by post is in process. There are many emergency circumstances during this time.

Please arrange better options to get reentry visa in less than 1 week.

Please allow families to be together or else please not issue work permit.

Making it online will be too useful and it save time, efforts and chaos.

No such thing as Re entry. We have paid enough to be here and we are not criminals that we need permission to go back to home and be back. Visa should be the only requirement.

Abolish Re-entry visa.

Please change such harsh rules. It’s a request. Ireland is a lovely place with lovely people. But these strict rules must be amended.

This process time is really high ,the current process is easier

Reentry never made sense. You register yourself to stay legally in the country and then to get another visa on top of it is absurd. IRP should be enough to allow you to move in and out of the country.

Re-entry visa is a joke. GNIB card should be sufficient to get back to the country, like in any other European country. Re-entry visa should go away, definitely.
