For most of countries I know, they don't have a so-called "Re-entry" VISA.

Why make the reentry thing so complicated??? All the procedures give us such a headache. And the mst annoying part is that we have to wait like a month after paying so much money!!! Such poor efficiency is just unacceptable.

For people who has business overseas and have to attend meetings abroad 7, 8 times a year like me, this makes absolutely no sense. Some business opportunities were lost because of this requirement. Other countries do not have this issue. I lived in Japan many years and with the residency card only, you can go in and out without additional documents. Please, catch up with the times and abolish the re-entry visa.

The re-entry visa should be abolished. Since we have longer say permit (residency card) then why we need another visa to travel?

I booked annual leave for Christmas, my sister has a new born baby who I wanted to meet during this period. I am an auditor, so my busy season is from January-April which means I cant go home before May just because of this creepy system. Thank you Ireland, I hope ur migrated citizens do not get the same same experience in US, Canada, Australia.
