Cancelling re-entry visa would reduce government’s work load and help hassle free travel of immigrants. IRP/GNIB card should be considered as proof of visa.

No system in the world asks legally residing tax payers to apply for re-entry visa. Ireland is an emerging market and if it wants to keep its economy growing, the systems will need to be made immigrant friendly.

Ireland have very redicules visa re-entry rule is previously exist in Sovet Union and Sovet Block countrys to stop people traveling abroad on case basis. This rule is still exist in the short number of poor dictature countrys. It was really bad surprise to have this formally comminists and fashist rule here in Ireland without any reason.

Very inconvenient. Can't submit the passport, which is the main proof of identity in a foreign land for such a long time. Also very expensive

Renetry is an unnecessary process, should be abolished or should be processed the same time as the day we renew our registration. I have been unable to go home in Christmas for the past 4 years because of this.

The re-entry visa law needs to be reverted to the previous online appointments. It already is a big issue in getting the GNIB appointments and its so hard as the website never works and takes 4-5 weeks to make an appointment after continuous failed attempts. Later again need to wait for the re-entry stamp to be done which also takes 4-5 weeks and emergency re-entry appointments are already filled up. So please abolish this rule and get the GNIB appointments and the re-entry online process in an efficient and smooth way. Its so humiliating and frustrating and due to the delay has been affect our professional and personal life. Its hard to believe that have paid such amount of fees for the GNIB and Re-Entry and yet getting such a disastrous and shameful service.
