This whole process makes no sense. Single GNIB process should cover multi entry until validity of GNIB itself. Sending passport the most important document by post is also senseless procedure.

A bureaucratic hurdle placed to slow down legitimate needs of non Irish residents. It's archaic and needs to be abolished as it serves no other purpose other than providing jobs to few pen pushers.

This is not only time consuming, its also costly. i have had to pay 160 EURO emergency re-entry Visa for 3 months single Visa. it needs to change and immediately.

when IRP card is in place and Govt. is issuing to stay in country legally. why this Re-Entry is needed as additional. I dnt think UK is following this process. Kindly look at the issues facing immigrants and make it more friendly environment.

Why any system takes 4 - 6 weeks for visa based on stamp, why don’t they do both GNIB and re-entry same time. This looks like government negligence of people problems problems
