In the best interest of Stamford's non-profit sports league youth, who rely on these programs and access to these feilds, Stamford Board of Ed please amend your current policy.

I can not believe The City of Stamford giving our fields up to profits and not to our children who have been on these fields playing for years. You the City should not take these fields away from our sports teams in Stamford. That is a disgrace that you do not want to accommodate our sports teams that are a part of this City and this City's government. We all pay taxes to this City and quite large taxes and for you to accommodate others and not your own is unbelievable! I think you all need to really get your acts together and do the right thing . Remember your city votes for you!

residents shouldn't have to reserve fields months in advance at ridiculous costs on top of the taxes and fees we pay!

Let's get a unified city policy for fields usage, regardless of whether they are BOA or Parks fields. Let's have a single permitting authority. These fields belong to the taxpayers, and should be administered accordingly.

The idea that facilities built with taxpayer funds, solely for the purpose of Stamford student exercise and recreation, should be open to for profit concerns, is absurd. If it is to be allowed as a means to derive new revenue, as Mr. Barbarotta contends, it should be ensured that all Stamford youth-serving non profits have absolute priority.

We will move to another town if the City of Stamford does not support the NOT-FOR-PROFIT youth sports programs which are the only options available for our children since the City does not run these leagues as a city department. We are thankful to the volunteers for taking care of our children. We DO NOT want to be forced to pay private for-profit companies for the opportunity to play youth sports.

I have 2 sons who both benefited from stamford youth sports from the age of 4 upwards. I am happy being a Stamford taxpayer to keep supporting this fantastic program!

Profit businesses should have the economic resources to purchase and develop their own fields. Stamford must support youth sports non-profit organizations for whom the taxpayers built the soccer and sports fields!!!

One of the reasons why we moved to Stamford was that it supported family oriented activities for the community at large. If this is taken away, it will divide the city, and there will be little opportunity for ALL children to grow and learn together. Access to sports activities are fundamental to a successful, healthy community.

Stamford Children need not for profit sports to have proper field access at the schools we pay taxes for. Don't sell our children to the highest bidder.

the kids really need to play sports it gets them involved and focused its hard enough the money they already charge for sports!!!!!
