Way too many lives have been lost .. Too many loved ones are no longer with us..Please change the speed limit..

Change it or police it24/7

Its not the road itself, its the neglect of certain drivers, changing the speed limit wont help, putting a barrier up wont help, I see elderly people put their foot down on there. That road will always have speeding cars, people doing burnouts, sit a highway patrol on that road and that will pull them up.

get something happening out there that road is so dangerous as i was saying the other day there is no warning of the corner and its just a bad road. its taken people to young we need something done. now

gotta do some thing or close the road its to dangeres if there no reasonble speed limit people ganna keep gettjng hurt or killed

speed cameras don't really help but police presence definitely does. I think 80 km is a much better speed and safer too.

I travel this road most days and agree that the road is not in a condition for 100 km speed limit

You've got to be kidding! The100km limit is perfect for the road. Not one of the fatalities occurred at that speed and all to my knowledge were locals and were more than familiar with the road. Lowering the limit will only prove to be a revenue raiser. Speeders will always speed regardless of the limit. Speed Camera? Why not place it at the bend maybe. Everyone will slow for it specifically and drive as they would've along the rest anyway! Like any road..an accident can and will occur if it's not driven appropriately.

I strongly believe that this is a very good idea , To help save many lives , It makes me feel sick how many people have been killed on this road, Its unfair and I beleive we should all stand together and take action on this so no more lives will be lost :)

Of course the road surface is a discrace as per most of the roads in Cessnock council area so something Cessnock council

Change the speed limit on this dangerous road. No cameras just review the speed limit.

I knew all three that have passed on this road. It needs to change, it's too dangerous!

I think one death is one to many. Fingers crossed they put at least a speed camera in! You never know when it could save a life :(
