It’s absolutely ridiculous that rj is trying to extend the school days. Don’t nobody wanna wake up early ash just sit in front of a device for more than we already have to. It’s so mentally draining and teachers aren’t even being considerate of the work they give. And with school ending at 12 were able to give ourselves a break in the afternoon before we have to start 3+ hours of hw.

Just change it back no one cares about your contract with flik and no one wants their overpriced and subpar food. Y’all just screwed everything up for no reason

With a strict extracurricular schedule, this change will effect it very negatively.

Being online for 6 hours will be mentally straining and it will be harder to focus

This is bologna. I can’t imagine what staring at my screen for 6+ hours a day is going to be like, will my eyes turn into squares?. I’d say Regis changes the grading scale to what it was last semester or at least keep the current schedule. Not a happy camper

I find myself being more drained while working on all the work from the past few months. This isn’t because of hybrid; it’s because of the increasing work load the teachers consider to be appropriate. Having a half day helped slightly because it gave us more time to work. However, having a longer day won’t give us as much time to catch up on assignments. For us seniors, we have the extreme stress of college applications. That adds a whole new element of work that makes it even harder to stay on top of assignments. If we’re forced to stay longer at school, this may force us to combat time between assignments and applications. I can’t speak for others, but applications seem to be a bit more important than busy work assignments.

we finally got used to the current schedule and it’s going to be hard to adjust to a whole new schedule. and teachers will increase the workload even more and we already have a ridiculous amount of work. i think it would be easier for everyone to keep it the same

Hate to see it. This won’t help anything. How about getting better teachers to teach the subjects. The problem isn’t the student themselves and their grades, it’s the content being learned and how it’s taught.
