We live very close to Poike Road corner on Ohauiti Road. The speed of the traffic is up around the 80k sometimes... unbelievable. I thought also that a speed camera out there might help slow it down. The noise the traffic creates also is phenomenal.

This is a residential area with children and families- too many times cars come racing down and we have had two serious accidents in the last 10months where lives could have been lost -

After driving around this area visiting my daughter and her family I found the speeds frightening especially for the people living in Ohauiti Road.

We live by the shops and have seen multiple accidents. So many doing more like 70km in this 50km zone. I'm concerned about children in this shopping centre.

Especially dangerous coming out of Adler Drive, and Boscabel, as there are blind corners both ways and traffic is often still travelling at 90km plus coming from upper Ohauiti.

Never seen any police as everyone speeds along ohauiti road even in the 50km area. Surprised there haven't been more accidents. Not sure if this will help until we have more policing of our roads but totally agree.

Too many idiot's driving far too fast. I almost get hit trying to get into my drive because people won't slow down and sit up my arse.

I often cross this road with my 3 & 1yr old right where accidents seem to happen in 70kph zone. Lower speed limit is logical where its all residential

70 kph should take effect when you hit the rural area, after all the sub divisions.

Meant to be 50k outside our place.we cant even get out of our driveway as cars come flying down from 70k area

This absolutely need to change. Alway worry about school children getting off buses. Less speed is so needed.

consider having a 30km speed limit by the four square shops. Also to not have 70km per hour by the park.
