It is a disgrace the cost they are asking us to pay for 2 weeks online. We will not stand for this. Urgent action needed now.

Excluding Hibernia college alone from this grant is discriminatory

Training to be a teacher is tough enough and expensive enough without adding this ridiculous and extortionate fee to the mix!

We should be just as entitled as the next when it comes to grants. The fees we’re paying are huge and then this on top for sitting in our own homes and in current circumstances.. pure outrage!

This is shocking, taking advantage to the highest degree.. Young people are stressed out enough as it is.. There should be a breakdown of costs to see where this money is going..

Completely unfair treatment of a struggling cohort with little support.

The cost of the Gaeltacht should be far lower considering it will all be done online -I feel it is very unfair to expect students who have already forked out €15,000 already for an online course to have to be so much for an online Gaeltacht !

How justify only reducing the price by €200. Surely with it all being done on Zoom there should be a significant difference in price! After all that's happened, at least ye could be understanding and not money hungry

Students pay enough for their educational degree, without the cost of mandatory extras that cannot be run due to the pandemic being forced on them.

I can not understand the justification of such money. Surely just €100 did not go to the Bean an Ti

Hi. I am expressing my anger over the prices of the upcoming Gaeltacht as not only are the prices sky high but the fact that we as students are being asked to pay these crazy prices on the back of a year filled with unemployment and struggle Is simply crazy. We will be carrying out the three weeks in the comfort of our own homes and to be expected to pay a figure of that magnitude is simply mind boggling. I have used this platform to express my personal anger and I thank you for taking the time to read this comment.

It isn’t fair how Gaeltacht fees have gone up on previous years when it is virtual and not in person!
I understand that they have lost money, but the students teachers have also lost money due to reduced hours and/or loss of employment!
The amount should be down 50% if anything on previous years!! Not more!!

A breakdown of the cost for the virtual offering should be provided to all students and an explanation as to how it could possible be akin to the cost of the traditional programme. Thank you.
