Prom needs to be indoors and not on dark windy roads with no cell phone service
For emergencies. NOT SAFE, porta potties
At a prom is ridiculous.

There are so many reasons why this is a bad venue. It's a bad area for drunk drivers, no cell service, no restrooms and as any outdoor event, the weather it has always rained thee past couple years the day of prom. These kids deserve a descent prom at an indoor place. When I was in high school they had it at double tree that was very nice but to far also I don't understand why they cant have it at one of the gyms that's what they did back before I went to my first prom so there is no reason they can't. These kids deserve a memorable night and not one at a outside no inside bathroom at that who wants to use a porta pottie with a fancy dress on. I hope they really reconsider this because there will be a lot of parents who will not allow there kids to go

A cheap venue is okay but my question is the kids fund raise for prom to pay for the venue germanna wasn't free why did the school feel it necessary to find a free venue that is just not suitable for prom. These kids spend a lot of money on prom the ticket cost when I was in hs was high even this is just sad

There are so many reasons why this is a bad idea. The setting with the dress code, bad area for drunk drivers, no cell service, no restrooms and as any outdoor event, the weather. These kids deserve a descent prom at an indoor place. They are expected to always do their best in school and attend school every day so I believe they deserve a memorable night and not one in a mountain outside. With no running water/bathroom.

This is a totally inappropriate venue! I hope MCHS reconsiders. I feel so bad for those kids! Prom is suppose to be a magical, formal, enjoyable, safe event.

We have 4 schools and definitely the gym at Wetsel can accommodate prom and after prom can be held in the gym at one of the other schools or at the High School. We as parents didnt have a problem back in the day having prom at our schools. Graves is too far out of the way and dangerous road in and out and not a right for for a prom!!!

I find this absolutely ridiculous that's all they could come up with. At Culpeper way back when we had ours in the Cafeteria for years and years and in 1998 when I was a senior it was in our gym. So I'm sure that would work for Madison. I wouldn't allow my child to attend if it was held at Graves. That's ridiculous and unsafe and well as unsanitary especially for the girls with long dresses. Its still chilly at night in April. Give these kids a proper Prom especially the seniors as this is their last one or could the the only one they ever attend because they only wanted to go to their senior prom.
