This is abhorrent. If people are allowed to continue treating innocent, voiceless animals like this, can you imagine how they treat children, the disabled or elderly? The laws need to be changed. They are archaic and cruel, to say the very least. As a society we need to do better !!!

Please protect defenseless animals. They don’t deserve to be treated this way.

This is a form of animal abuse. Please change our laws to protect animals from this inhumane treatment.

Please help these animals. This dog did not ask to be with these people. This is child abuse, when you decide to have dogs/cats they are members of your family, why would you leave your child outside in the cold looking for shelter and food and no means of helping themselves, he should be in the house feeling the warmth and love of a family who really wants him

If people are going to keep animals outside, they should have to make sure they have a dry area to stay in, a cover to get out of the elements and water at all times. They should also have to have a fenced area and not just clip their dog to a chain. There are too many animals around here that live their whole lives on a 10 foot chain. That should be illegal!

This dog and other dogs are outside in all kinds of weather. Rain, freezing rain, extreme cold and hot. They cannot move around freely and seek needed shelter. Spartanburg is better than this. It is time for a positive and healthy change.

Spartanburg is so behind on animal welfare. We need to address this issue to continue to not only help these animals, but also show Spartanburg is a city ready to grow.

There are far too many neglected animals here. It’s shocking and sad.
