Please help this dog and and other dog that cannot help themselves. They need us and you all to help them. This dog has been so worried about within the Nextdoor group along with anyone else who loves dogs. We are doing all we can for this dog however we cannot do anything more without the laws being changed to protect the dogs that need something more than living on a chain or lead. We helped Greenville County change their laws years ago. Please look into the different options. This dog is outside in pouring rain, freezing cold, any and all weather.

I’ve seen these poor pups outside in the elements. Not only as shown in the photo but in other neighborhoods .

Dogs deserve better treatment than this. Come on Spartanburg. Do better.

No dog should be treated like this! They are family & our faithful companions who are unable to speak for themselves, therefore we must speak up for them!

Please help these poor innocent dogs. They have no control over the way humans treat them. They don’t deserve this.

Please help stop cruelty in Spartanburg county. Dogs are freezing, starving tied to trees. I see them everyday. And when that dog dies, they tie another one to the same tree, same chain. It’s inhuman! It’s Torture.

This sort of treatment of animals is abuse and must be met with harsh reprimand.

I’ve seen this dog tied up in the pouring rain, the ground so saturated that the dog was sitting in a deep puddle. I called the police who told me to call animal control. I called animal control and they did nothing.

Animals should have protection. They should have a law that lets animals not being cared for correctly, be removed from the owners without any consequences.

Animal abuse should not be tolerated. It is the responsibility of the county to provide enforceable guidelines that can be enforced. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

It should be a criminal offence and jail time and a hefty fine for doing this.
