Change in the sentence for a violent public disorder

Sentencing should be loads longer , the whole off this family's life had changed for good , their never getting their husband dad back are they .

I feel that the punishment does not fit the crime at all ! The likes of Simon Dobbin who's life has been taken away. He cannot walk talk eat or even have a cup of T or scratch himself if he gets an itch. The people who done this will be out walking the streets their lives back to normal after the tops 3 years. Now if they had stolen money they would have got longer . Something is not right and you can fix this

I think the 5 years is not long enough to the family's that suffer for wat others do 10 years is a bit more respectful.

I was at the sentencing and some were laughing g as they got sent down.

These short sentences only encourage thugs to take the risk on committing violent acts. They destroy lives ;sit in prison for 5 years and then get on with their lives again.

Ridiculous sentences.

The sentence should be much more. Simon and his wife won't be over this nightmare in 5 years. It's for the rest of their lives.. and 5 years.. they'll be out after about 3. Disgraceful

This law MUST be changed, it is disgusting lives are changed forever, these thugs should be locked up and keys thrown away.

The potential maximum sentence should be increased, to reflect the very serious consequences of this crime.
