I understand that it's difficult to accommodate everyone, but if this date could be changed, everyone would be able to unite together for homecoming.

I don't think it's right to have homecoming on a Jewish holiday because it prevents everyone that's Jewish from not going and I believe that everyone should attend.

Lmao you gotta leave it to the white people schools to be ignorant of other people's religion and beliefs bc that's what we do best

this is completely outrageous, i don't even live in georgia and i'm extremely offended by the lack of planning and jewish importance.

I used to live in Georgia around that area. I moved about 3 years ago. Judaism is a very important part in my life and as for the rest of these kids it obviously is in there's too. As for the homecoming dance just move the date. Homecoming is a very important time in our high school lives. And just because we're Jewish and have a high holiday to attend doesn't mean we shouldn't be able to go to our homecoming. Just please change the date.

School systems rarely consider holidays regarding any religion other than Christianity when scheduling events. The fact that the dance was scheduled on Yom Kippur is completely ridiculous; even if only one student was affected, it still shows that his or her religion is viewed as less important or inferior.

Another instance of an administration that does not care about the welfare of their entire student population.

You wouldn't have it on Christmas or Easter...

please consider changing the date. It is very unfair to parts of the student body

With the turmoil going on in our country right now it would make such a strong positive statement for this homecoming date to be changed. Allowing all students of all races and religions to be able to attend homecoming Buy at knowledging the mistake and changing the date is important

With all the turmoil in our country it seems like it would benefit the entire community to show the importance of this oversight. Acknowledging it and changing it will make a strong statement of the importance of everyone's acceptance. It would be so sad for the students to be unable to share in an important high school Function.

Please change Homecoming so that it does not coincide with the holiest day of the Jewish year. Please be inclusive.
