School regulations like this hypersexualize female students unfairly, leaving them feeling bad about their bodies for just existing as they are.

We have to get over this idea that shoulders are going to distract boys from learning. Even if they are, removing girls from class to make them change is body shaming and robs them of their chance to learn because of men. How is that equality?

The idea that students should suffer through uncomfortable weather conditions and heat exhaustion for the (questionable) benefit of male students is ridiculous and teaches that women's education is less valuable. This is unacceptable.

It's dumb that this has to be a thing. Let them wear what's comfortable. I can tell you now a girls shoulder is the last thing distracting some kid in class. Maybe the class should be more entertaining and educational if something this silly could pull your attention away.

If male students are allowed to wear tank tops or shpulder exposing shirts in schools, then that right should extend to the female population of the school as well.
Teach boys to control themselves
