You must be willing to work with Small Business. It is in the best interest of the City of Ocala. Address any safety issues if this is the concern for the ordinance!

There must be some compromise, as items nicely and safely displayed outside a business is proven to generate interest and sales.

As a small business owner in the downtown Ocala area, I support the change of the ordinance. Some of the code enforcement rules make it impossible to let the public know we are "Open for Business."

I as a customer feel that this new ordinance is uncalled for. I have lived in many states and find the small town appeal is what I look for. With seeing the wonderful display's infront of small shops is what catches my eye and draws me in. Why would you take this great opportunity away from your greatest supporters? Yes, Small hometown businesses......They are what is keeping your downtown alive. Please allow them to continue to display outside of the buildings. Thank You....Jackie Foxworthy
