Law’s not about cramming knowledge into your head—it’s about being able to think critically and reason through things. Even top judges hit pause in court to consult legal books. Honestly, it’s frustrating that UOL doesn’t get this basic point.

Kindly return back to open-book exams, or give returning students an opportunity to choose which exam format they prefer.

As we aware of the uol policy regarding online time’s assessment which is closed book I myself had last year with two last modules remaining, which is very hard to memorise long essays. Moreover it is unfair to against equality as in other states the exams are quietly different uol should adopt moderative approach we demand open book assessment or either should give us time immunity

Dear exam officials, please take this as a plea on behalf of all students seating for the May exams to shift exam mode to open-book exams

Open book is already hard. Don’t make it even more harder for us!

Definitely would need open book exam, as for the past 2 years have been taught and practiced that way. As a working adult, find it pretty challenging to switch to close book at the final year.

Please help to understand our situation where we started with open book and the change had miserably impacted our lifestyle with tremendous stress and pressure, especially working adults like me. I love UOL but please review the exam format .

I started this program on the premise that examinations would be 'open-book'. Had I known otherwise, I would have reconsidered my decision to join a London program, in favor of a more affordable and convenient LLB option in my homeland. To change and implement with immediate effect, the parameters of the conditions under which we initially signed up for a program, seems not only highly unethical, but grossly unfair as well.
