Yoga has both restorative and injury prevention benefits! Yoga has reduced the amount of ACC claims i have made...ACC should be paying yoga teachers for the students they have, not the other way round!

Practice of Yoga helps you to be aware of the moment, and of your body, helping you to improve posture, breath better and have healthier joints, minimising the chance of injuries and stress. So no need for this tax rate

Yoga is not sport instruction! It is a health and well being class.

Yoga is a healthy, careful practice with an extremely low risk factor compared with dance and many sports. In yoga, for example, participants maintain contact with the ground so there is little danger of falling or violent twists or sprains.

this doesn't make sense, but then again this is ACC we are up against, so it wouldn't make sense.

If my Yoga classes caused injuries, why would the same students keep returning to class year after year - and practice yoga at home too!

it is ironic that many physios, osteopaths chiropractots etc send there clients to yoga to help maintain their injured bodies and gain strength to bring them back to health.

This is silly I've never heard of a yoga competition unlike a rugby game, dance competition, snowboarding tourney, etc. yoga has helped me relieve body pain and stress from my day to day life and Te sports that I play. It helps so much

This is kind of disgusting how how yoga instructors are charged... Yoga is a therapeutic practice that has so many mental and physical benefits. Or do they not want our citizens to be healthy and make it less accessible? It seems like they have some kind of agenda to squash yoga!
