This is not a joke. Appalachian State University has centers for just about everything, the LGBTQetc community, cultural diversity, and women. But there has always been a group that has been left out - men. Most people I have talked to said they support a men's center on campus. It'll be a safe place where men can connect with other men and talk about issues that matter to men.

Hi! I would just like to mention that Men on the Mountain is a men's group on campus that is trying to gain members but no men will join. They have like... less than 10 members. I did research for them for about a year and the responses we got were.... astounding. But anyway, just know that it's available. You can find it on App's website. If App actually had a men's center, what services would it have? What would it be based on? That would probably be something good to have in case this petition ever reaches the required amount of signatures. Also, not to be critical, but you might want to proofread your title for spelling errors. That would help your case. Good luck.

It has to be manly men... no LGBT stuff!!
Gay men deserve this, we want our hook up place, like them women do in their womens tampon center. We dont like those penis wearing women, we want pure penis from males. LGBTQ doesnt give us that option, its all fake.

Also! Sorry I forgot to add... Men on the Mountain isn't exactly a men's center, but it's a step in the right direction. They focus on masculinity and give men a space to talk about struggles they face every day; struggles that others wouldn't understand because they aren't men. And as of now, women are not allowed to participate because they want it to solely be for men. It probably isn't what you're looking for, but it's a group that maybe you could team up with to actually get this idea going, and then the program could be included in the services for the men's center.
