for the past year the young people of salford have has a chance to show how they are not all thugs and vandals, they have done this by writing there positive stories and sending it
in to be published in the childrens champion collum. now after so long the advertiser have decided to pull this collum from the paper.
so i need as many people to sign and help get there opinion heard through the children's champion collumn
I have been reading the stories people are sending in about how much this column meant to our local youth. It is honestly humbling to see that this idea has grown into something that clearly resonates with so many of you.

I am honestly overwhelmed by how many people believe in these young writers as much as I do. This energy belongs entirely to you for standing up for the positive stories coming out of our neighborhood.

Total rubbish to get rid of it. The paper should be highlighting the positive stuff the kids are doing instead of always focusing on the bad news.

My daughter loves reading these stories. It shows people that our youth here have a heart and are doing good things. Bring it back!
