*Petition for a Fair Election Process*

_To: Chairperson of the Great Zimbabwe University Election Supervision Board_

Dear Madam Chair,

We, the undersigned candidates and concerned students of Great Zimbabwe University, are compelled to express our deep dissatisfaction with the recent election process and its results. Our concerns reflect the sentiments of a significant portion of the student body whose right to a fair election has been compromised.

*Concerns with the Election Process:*

1. *Vulnerability of the Online Voting System:*
The online voting system was susceptible to manipulation. Sensitive information required for access was easily exploitable, allowing unauthorized individuals to change passwords and vote without consent.

2. *Extended Voting Hours:*
The election was extended from 7 PM to 9 PM, creating confusion and preventing many students from voting. This raises serious questions about the election's integrity.

3. *Intimidation and Coercion:*
Reports of intimidation tactics to pressure students into voting for specific candidates remain unaddressed, undermining the election's legitimacy.

4. *Inconsistencies in Voting Records:*
Discrepancies have surfaced, including non-registered students voting and irregularities in fee balances, indicating a lack of security and oversight.

5. *Deletion of the Voting Form:*
The deletion of the Google form used for voting raises critical concerns about the integrity of the process, as it may have allowed tampering with the results.

*Call to Action:*
In light of these issues, we respectfully demand a rerun of the election with a secure and transparent voting method. Immediate action is necessary to restore trust in our electoral process.

We stand united in requesting fairness, transparency, and accountability. We urge you to take our petition seriously and act swiftly to rectify the injustices of this election.

Thank you for your urgent attention to this matter. We look forward to your prompt response.
