This needs to be reversed for the future of motorsport in Ireland

As a clubman competitor from Wales i totally oppose this rule change to control fuel, This will double my fuel costs and will not compete in Ireland again under these rules, unfortunately it will be the clubs that suffer rather than the Paid personnel in charge..

I want to supply my own fuel and that’s hard enough done and if I have to go to one corner of the service area to put in my own fuel for safety then that’s grand

Just over double my fuel cost for each event, Small crews won’t be able to justify the extra cost, Heart of clubman rallying will be gone and that’s the backbone of rallying in Ireland

Dictatorship by Mi to the Motorsport community and to their personal finances and we are the people who fun motorsport at all levels so it’s time mi started to listen and remember we’re only an amateur sport in Ireland and voluntary run.

This would end rallying for the Clubman. This us a very expensive change with no alternative that is going to cause a lot of limitations to crews in respect to the cost, the number of events that can be completed, the modifications needed to cars and engines and is going to discourage competitors. These issues are going to impact the young and upcoming competitors who have limited funds. This will also effect champio ships as completing all necessary rounds is going to be unachievable.

Clubs need to represent the views of their members to Motorsport Ireland. Events will suffer as a result. It is also a bit hypocritical to say this is for environmental reasons when representatives of MSI drive gas guzzlers on stages.
