As a Clubman running on a very small budget, I will not be rallying in the near future with this extra cost on me with the fuel, unfortunately I cannot afford it. It's a pity because I love to get out and enjoy myself in the rally car but i just can't afford to this now. I do hope this extra expense will be done away with for the future of our sport irish rallying.

I’m against the decision to use solely race fuel for competition cars on rallies. What’s wrong with pump fuel for grassroots competition

This is not acceptable to have only one option for fueling,. Their is a selection of tyres to suit budgets of various competitors, fuel should be the same not forced to use one brand

A very poorly thought out and implemented decision. I have no problem with the designated fuel area. And enforcing a control fuel for the homologated machinery probably makes sense too. But why have all the other classes (which normally make up 3/4 of rally entries) not been considered? These cars are running all sorts of combinations of pump fuel, race fuel and additive mixes. This new rule is forcing them to spend a lot of money remapping engines, for zero performance gains and an inflated fuel bill. Not to mention there are only 3 weeks to get this done before the first rally of 2025.
