The health department continues to ignore the fact that young women are dying while they hide behind these outdated age barriers. I am currently drafting a formal demand for a meeting with the health board to force them to look at these reality checks.

The momentum behind this is undeniable and it proves that people are finally waking up to the danger this policy poses to young women. The health department can no longer ignore this blood on their hands while they hide behind outdated rules.

Ridiculous that you have to wait until 25 when cancer doesn't care how old you are. please lower the age!!

my cousin was diagnosed at 22. 25 is just too late for some of us. this needs to change now.

I had symptoms at 21 and was told I was too young for a smear. scary stuff. do it.

My friend lost her life to this at 23. if she had been screened earlier she might still be here. heartbreaking.
