The suggested change would most likely cause dreadful congestion at rush hour.

Please, do as your constituents have indicated. Do not restrict Seminary Road. Keep the 4 lanes that are currently in use.

I believe this will hurt businesses in the old town area. It will put mor traffic on Duke St which can’t handle the traffic now. Every driveway on that section has turn around driveways.

I am a resident and home owner living directly off N Van Dorn. I commute to teach in DC every day, and my husband commutes to school and his job via Seminary and King Street daily. Reducing the traffic lanes and further restricting the road space for the already large volume of traffic would have a very negative impact on residents, visitors, and commuters alike.

How about adding a better sidewalk / bike path along side of road for safer transportation of those folks.

Converting King Street from 4 lanes to 2 (with a turn lane in the center) has made it miserable to drive on that road; please don't do the same with Seminary Road. It's too important.

I support traffic & parking board decision to maintain Seminary Rd as 4 lanes with pedestrian crossing. This is a major east/west artery that should not be narrowed.

I do not want the lanes to be reduced. This will increase congestion onto secondary roads and through residential neighborhoods.

I am not an Alexandria resident but I use Seminary Road on a frequent basis. Narrowing the lanes from 2-4, in what is already a high-traffic area, would create unsafe conditions and drastic traffic problems.

We need four lanes to provide access to the Alexandria Hospital. No need to put this thoroughfare on a "diet".
This change would reek havoc on the community!
