Please also do something to stop traffic going from 395 to the beltway from cutting through our neighborhoods!.

This is a classic case of "looking good on paper," with no real-world application. If Complete Street Grants stipulate this, then use a different source of funds for this segment of Seminary. Narrowing a significant lateral route through the City for the ske of a very few (like 5!) bicyclists is irresponsible at best.

Our incompetent city bureaucracy created this problem with the slight of hand approval of BRAC and they are only looking to make it worse. DO NOT REDUCE THE LANES OF TRAFFIC!

Reducing the number of lanes will cause more congestion, less patience on the part of drivers and a more unsafe area for walkers and bikers. This is a HUGE waste of our taxpayer dollars to increase the time and hassle for all of us who live here - your constituents.

Road diets make it almost impossible for a population to evacuate during an emergency. If safety is an issue, please do more to educate pedestrians on how they can safely use the road (including using crosswalks instead of jumping out from between parked cars, and wearing reflective clothing at dusk). Investigate solutions for the traffic clogs around Telegraph/Duke/Eisenhower instead.

These reductions in lanes and speed limits do not improve safety but rather promote congestion, pollution and waste gas and productivity.

Keep Seminary 4 lanes and please recognize that Quaker is a 4-lane commuter road and increase the speed limit to something reasonable...at least 30mph.

We need cars removed from our streets now! We need safe infrastructure. WE ARE DYING!

We drive this stretch of road every day, and the proposed decrease of lanes will adversely affect the safety and quality of life of tax paying Alexandria constituents. Why are the residents who live closest to this part of Seminary, the majority of whom oppose this proposal, being ignored?

The city should be arresting bicycle riders, not punishing responsible car drivers. These urban terrorists have caused countless deaths. Stop the madness or you will see citizens taking matters into their own hands.

As someone who drives this portion of Seminary on a daily basis, I ask our elected officials and city management not to make our traffic situation even worse with the changes being considered.

I like bikes-but Seminary has too much traffic already to narrow the lanes. Also- we need to be practical about emergency and public transportation vehicles that need to travel through the west end. Alexandria has too few transportation pathways between old town, 395 and west end to narrow this one for bike pathways. Thank you

Keep Seminary 4 lanes

Unnecessary and unwanted. Houston and other cities plan to meet existing and future transportation needs. Alexandria goes the opposite direction.

Where are the bicycles? I never see them?

I have reviewed the "study" the T&ES Dept is relying on, and it seems to me on its face to be highly slanted towards the staff's preferred alternative, without taking any serious account of the impact of this proposal on the residents of the City who will be most affected. I strongly object to this proposal, and request that, instead, the City put a high priority on repaving Seminary Road, which has deteriorated greatly while this proposal has been under review.

Improve traffic flow with computer control of traffic lights.
