Centerville Residents Against Any More High Density Housing

I strongly oppose high density housing. Everyone needs to remember this situation when it comes to voting for city council members and mayor. I plan to. I have lived in Centerville for 45 years and am saddened by what our city officials are doing and what we have already become. It is a slippery slope we are on.

I oppose the addition of more high-density housing in Centerville.

I oppose high density housing in South Centerville, especially the Hafoka property on Porter Lane near 400 West.

I moved to Centerville because of the low density population, it's no longer the small tight nit community it once was. Please stop destroying our city.

It seems like we get "railroaded" into too many things in our city we really don't want because no one says or does anything about it. It's time we speak up about this now before we have the same problem again.

Parrish Lane is already extremely congested especially during high commute times. Adding high density housing will only compound the problem.

Let's keep Centerville a quiet, suburban town!

Centerville has changed so much since I bought my first condo here in the early 80's. Let's keep Centerville, particularly the area around Main Street with its historic homes, quiet and peaceful.

What I love about centerville is that it still feels like a small community while still being a reasonable commuting distance from downtown salt lake. High density housing may bring more money to the city in the short run but in the long run, it will really change the vibe of the city (even more than the city has already changed in the past 5 years). No more!

I am opposed to high density zoning on Porter Ln-the increased traffic, congestion, etc. is very concerning to me.

I wish you people would stop trying to turn our family oriented city into Bountiful with all of its dense housing units. We moved here 35 years ago because of its small home town feel. Our schools are already crowded and Main Street is already so congested at times its hard to get through. I'm tired of those who have special interests with dollar signs in their eyes trying trying to change our fair city.

The right thing to do is for the greater good of the community. The blight of high density growth today may lead to the ghettos and slums of tomorrow.

Let's be wise in our choices. It's not always about money. Let's maintain the integrity that is Centerville Main Street

We have enough. Home values decrease and we are ready to move out with all the commercialization.
