I was shocked at learning that Jefferi was being terminated from his position as the shuttle bus driver. Jeffri really was much more than that. He was a great unofficial ambassador to Singapore for all that knew him. His support of the US military in Sembawang is greater than his shuttle driving duties. He has assisted countless in a myriad of ways. Terminating him will be a great loss to the PSA Sembawang community and should seriously be reconsidered.

I believe Jeffery and Shirley were one of the few to every receive an monetary award about one year ago. I hope Centerra reconsider the decision they have made.

I've known Geofrey from 2007-2010. His funny, helpfull with everyone. His my go to guy for any question i may have about Singapore and other places around SG...pls keep him, he is a great asset to the community and for the newbies that will be stationed in Sembawang..

To whom it may concern,
Jeffri have worked with me with the past 2 BOS contractors (DS2 & FDS) the community have done their part by contributed their sincere comments and there are more to come. How much more do Centerra need? Let me speak my mind out, none of your transport staff, let me repeat, yes none of your transport staff can and have claimed a better performance report than Jeffri. Yes Centerra have been sincere in technically not wanting to renew his contract but let me say this Centerra is sincerely wrong in making that decision. This clearly goes to show that Centerra Boss absolutely knows nothing about their staffs in terms of their work performances. I will challenge Centerra management to prove me wrong with my comments by showing me that there is another staff better than Jeffri in the transport dept. I have been working here for that past 19years now. And I know all the Centetra staffs thru n
thru as I have worked with them for more than 15yrs and still watching them from across the streets (7-4). It is out of pure jealousy from the rest of the staff that Jeffri had to be the victim of circumstances. Sir, I am available at anytime at your convenience to justify my comments for Jeffri.

Geoffrey is an asset to the Sembawang community! He’s often the first face many see when they arrive and he never disappoints to welcome all with a cheerful greeting. He’s not just a driver... he’s a friend! Geoffrey remembers everyone by name including the children, remembers where you live or where you need to get dropped off and remembers your family’s hobbies/interest that’s he’s able to engage in conversation with you about.
Geoffrey has never hesitated to go above and beyond the call of duty as a driver. He’s so much more and it would be detrimental to the morale of the community not to have him around.
I respectfully request a revisit to the termination of employment decision you all have made a big mistake in making. Geoffrey cannot be replaced.

Jeffri was our shuttle driver from 2002-2009 when we lived in Sembawang. You couldn’t ask for a better employee. Jeffri was always there with a smile on his face to welcome you, share a joke and information about the area. Over the years, Jeffri became a friend and a part of our Singapore family that I hope to stay in touch with for the rest of my life. I hope the decision to not renew his contract is reversed because you will have lost a great asset not only to your company, but to the entire Sembawang base community. I hope you listen to the large number of people that he has affected over the years and keep him on as the driver in Sembawang.

My family and I moved to Singapore in 2014. Geoffrey was one of the first people who welcomed us to the community. He was ALWAYS so kind to us and everyone I ever saw him interact with. I truly believe the community is better because of him and it would be a huge loss to everyone if you do not renew his contract.

Jeffri is a warm and welcoming ambassador for our Sembawang community. Immediately his warmth, love of his country, community, and willingness to share information to newly arrived members of the community imbues all those whom he comes into contact with a sense of belonging and acceptance. As expats, it is certainly appreciated when a local guide shares his enthusiasm for his community, company, culture, community, and country with you; it enhances our lifestyle and standard of living-we couldn’t imagine our Sembawang family without Dear Jeffri playing his integral part as our unofficial welcome ambassador. His service is of significant value-Centerra will be dealt a large blow with the loss of such a beloved employee; for his delivery of customer service standards is rare to come by, not only in our community, but in Singapore. Jeffri has been a kind a welcoming friend to my family since our very first day in Sembawang. He could always lift my spirits, no matter what kind of day I was having. He treated my children with every bit of love and kindness they deserve. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy and taken care of. I cannot imagine my time in Singapore without Jeffri. I hope he stays on and continues spreading love and joy throughout our community. We really need him.

My family have known Jeffri since 2009. When we first meet Jeffri we felt like we already know him and he welcomed us to Singapore. We left Singapore and came back and left again and Jeffri still there. It’s always a good feeling knowing someone like Jeffri when you’re in a different country not knowing anyone and he’s there to help you out. Jeffri would go his way to help everyone. He would help mother’s with little kids and with groceries. He is a shuttle driver and he doesn’t have to do that but he have helped so many people in Sembawang Community. Jeffri cares and a very nice person and would help anyone. There is no valid reason why he won’t keep his job. Sembawang Community would not be the same without Jeffri.

I can't imagine the Sembawang community without Jeffri. He was one of the first people to welcome us when we arrived in Singapore. He always had a smile and kind word. Not only was he friendly and a very safe driver, he also knew the community and did not hesitate to report things that weren't right.
