Last year our son was injured on the hill. The patrollers were great, the staff was great however the amount of stress and inconvenience in coordinating rides and advising loved ones was very stressful. Cell service is needed - not just a convenience at a place like Holiday Mountain.

My daughter in high school participates once a month in an international math contest where she is ranked in the top in the world She had to decide whether to go on her school ski trip to Holiday Mountain or stay home to do the contest. She choice the ski trip. The following month we were doing a service trip in Grenada in a remote "hospital" with no power/equipment/drugs and went up to the top of the mountain and had cell service there to write the math contest! Because she choice the math contest she is no longer in the top 10.
