Implementing this policy would affect the education of many potential students in a very negative way. These potential students could one day be the nation's leading doctors, scientists and engineers and this policy could possibly restrict them from achieving this goal.

This policy should not be enacted and will stunt our educational growth significantly and will effect all of our lives detrimentally. For the benefit of all students in Clark County, stop this madness now. Ruining fantastic schools simply because you are too incompetent to make your own even mediocre ones would not just. The primary objective of funding in the district should be towards education. Things really need to change around here if the district does not wish to continue to be laughed at on a national level.

Magnet schools are put into society for those who have a goal, which they work hard to achieve. Implenting this principle would take away from those students who will one day become the nation's top doctors, scientists, engineers and entrepreneurs. This new policy would make it so that children who live further away from a prestigous magnet highschool, to be unable to apply and go to that school even if they have a higher or equal academic level than one that lives near the school. This policy would ruin the education of they diligent students and would rob the state and nation of great potential doctors, scientists, engineers and more.

They cannot change those principles; it is a great injustice to the students and the families who believed in education. It is demoralizing to the students who are already in those schools to even comprehend how this will affect their future.
