Reaching this level of support honestly feels like a heavy weight being lifted off my shoulders. I am exhausted by the fight but seeing this momentum reminds me why I started. We are finally getting the attention we need to move forward.

The CCCT theater is a vital part of our community. It is a wonderful creative outlet for our children and adults alike. My family and I were involved in many productions and have many wonderful memories. Charging the CCCT to rehearse and hold shows would put an end to this invaluable resource. Please do not implement the fees you are considering.
I know schools need the community's assistance. But sometimes the community also needs a schools assistance. A volunteer non-profit organization, with highly trained/skilled directors, should be able to utilize a "public" school venue that is funded largely with taxes paid by same said community. Especially when it is an organization that serves students and parents as a creative, educational, family-friendly outlet.
Do other community groups such as South Cheatham Indians Football also pay these facility fees?
CCCT is something that Cheatham County can be proud of! It brings our community together in a way that few other things can. If you won't allow use of the Jean Downey Theater, then by all means please build a suitable space for the sake of CCCT and other community organizations!
The theater was built with the express purpose is serving the entire community. Local, 501c3 organizations that provide opportunities for all students and citizens to participate in the performing arts should be given ample opportunity to practice and perform without a burdensome and insurmountable fee.

The board made a deal years ago to bring arts in the form of Theatre to the residents of Cheatham County. Over a thousand residents of our county have participated in CCCT and thousands more have seen the plays. By making the cost to use the theatre so high a message is being sent to our community, creative minds don't matter, those who spend days and days to present theatre to our community, don't matter, with the arts Cheatham County is a great place to live, without, it's missing a very important piece of the community..

The school board has priced themselves higher than professional rehearsal and performances spaces located in the most expensive borough of New York City, Manhattan. I can't fathom how anyone thought this would improve the Cheatam arts community.
