The Commission for Community College, Extension, and Vocational Education (CCCEVE) seeks to provide a space for researchers and practitioners within the areas of Community Colleges, Extension Education, and Vocational Education to share best practices, gain industry knowledge, and enhance conversation through idea, practice, and research sharing. The implication of this Commission is to build and share knowledge, community, and growth opportunities within these educational entities.

Being interrelated through the focus of multiple programs and credentials to provide skill sets needed to enhance our communities, workforce, and economy, these entities (Community College, Extension Education, and Vocational Education) as well as other entities and organizations, (Technical College, Corporate Education, Correctional Education, Continuing Education, Career and Technical Education, Faith-Based Education, Secondary Vocational Education, Post-Secondary Vocational Training, Community Based Education, Non-Profit Education, Non-formal Education, and National Council for Continuing Education and Training, and League for Innovation in the Community College), are all stakeholders within these conversations. These entities must share best practices, research, and networks to strengthen the conversations and offerings for students. Helping people learn new skills and knowledge, which can improve their lives and the lives of their families is critical. Strengthening communities by providing opportunities for residents to connect and share resources and to help engage their local and state governments.
