The fact that two of my clients' kids have come down with Covid19 and both got it from other kids while at school tells me that we need to do MORE not less to protect our kids. There is no reason to stop masks being worn. It's the only safety measure we have at the moment. They should be worn until the kids are vaccinated.

We can’t remove masks from anyone until everyone is vaccinated and we can 100% be sure there are no variants. My projection is 2023 school year. Until then we will just have to tough it out.

It should be stressed that by not requiring masks for those not vaccinated, we are putting the most vulnerable at risk. Additionally, this promotes exclusion not inclusivity.

I am only a CBSD parent for 11 more days but my child has been in CBSD since kindergarten. Never, in the last 13 years, have I seen the school District so fragmented and politicized. I have great concerns for future leadership.

Please follow the science around masking in our school district . I am grateful to follow the CDC guidelines meant to keep our kids safe while they remain unvaccinated from COVID-19. This is not child abuse. I have known and interviewed many child victims of abuse during my time in public child welfare in Bucks County. These inflammatory comments being made by community members to promote an anti- mask campaign are harmful to every child who has suffered legitimate abuse. I am ashamed of these folks comments and we all should really do a gut check here. We are protecting children from a deadly virus with masks not abusing them.

Finally! An intelligently written summary of the truth about what has really been going on in CBSD! Masks work. And since the mask mandates have ended all over country the cases in children have risen over 2%. Almost 4 million children have contracted covid in the US and over 80,000 in the last week and hundreds have died, or have chronic health problems from covid. The lies and hypocrisy generated from OpenBucks are ridiculous. People who have signed this petition are already being harassed and shamed. Your right to freedom stops when it infringes on others health and safety. School is almost over and masks need to stay in place until then.

This should not be a partisan issue. It is important for the health and safety of our community that decisions on Covid protocols be made based on sound science. I’m also concerned about recent events at the school board and the seeming capitulation of board members to radical fringe elements in our community who equate masking with child abuse.

All vaccinations are important and if the child isn’t appropriately vaccinated should be required to wear a mask to protect those that can’t be vaccinated for age or medical reasons.
