Johnny would have had an amazing career. I know they didn’t retire Kivi, but he was not the same caliber as Johnny. I still want to see something permanent for him as well. Both of their lives ended to soon.

Johnny Gaudreau was well on his way to being a NHL hall of fame player and Bluejackets legend with the 2 seasons he’s had here in Columbus. He deserves his number retired in Nation Wide Arena because his impact was felt on and off the ice. The impact alone he had on the team and organization will be missed deeply in Columbus. Biggest free agent signing in team history definitely deserves to have his jersey retired in Columbus. So please make this happen and continue to pay tribute to a legendary player who was an even better man. Rip Johnny hockey
