Causewaycoastandglens is such a descriptive and obvious brandname; lots of organisation would give their eyetooth for such a name!
The glens is one of the most beautiful parts of the North Antrim coast. If I was visiting this part of the world and didn't know about glenariffe, cushendall, cushendun etc I would feel cheated.
It would be an absolute disgrace if the "glens" was dropped from the domain name. In an area of outstanding natural beauty, renowned the world over, tourism plays a vital role in the community and its economy. Dropping the glens just highlights the ignorance and shortsightedness of this commitee.
Since coming to live in Cushendall I have noticed how this area is strangely not included when the coast road is mentioned on TV programmes
The Causeway and The Glens of Antrim are two of this island's most famous scenic attractions. The name causewaycoastandglens reminds potential visitors that this area has a wealth of beautiful tourist experiences to offer.
We must be inclusive to succeed!
Causeway Coast and Glens IS a recognised and established marketing brand. The whole new council area will benefit from the brand name of Causeway Coast and Glens. I am confident that the Transition Committee for the new Council will make am intelligent decision that will be of benefit to all the residents of this new and exiting council - Causeway Coast and Glens Council.The Domain Name has to be "www.causewaycoastandglens......either gov. Or. Org.

the coast road is more than just the coast road it is natural beauty and is complimented by the Glens as they go hand in hand! Cannot have one without the other as each of the villages along the coast have a meaning linked to the Glens.
