its honestly ridiculous that this is still a rule in 2017. people are people and they need companionship. forcing them to live like that just causes way more problems than it fixes. honestly let them have a life.

The discipline of celibacy is unnatural, unnecessary and cruel.The reasons given by the Catholic Church are all self serving. They want to control every aspect of the life of priests. The church is not only misogynistic but also fearful of women .Wives have great influences with their husband's choices.The Catholic Church wants to avoid opposition that the hierarchy considers interference. Even if it results in the emotional, social,and physical retardation of the male biological instinct .
