A continuation of Catholic education is paramount to our family life, our children’s spiritual development and similar values that we would all share.

Practising Catholic children should get priority over all others after SEN children

This is so true! The children living in Stanwell and Stanwell Moor that attend St Michael’s are at a significant disadvantage

Places should be made available in catholic schools for all catholic children. Westminster dioceses should be working with Brighton and Arundel dioceses to assist with children from Staines to secure a place at Salesian’s or at St Paul’s. Both dioceses should be working with Surrey County council to accommodate enough spaces for all children coming up from catholic primary schools in the area.

I'm signing this because I agree Only a few years ago I found out a number of students got a place at St Michael's school in Ashford and the parent who applied at the time lived in Poland and got a place at the school and when they moved in August there kids had a place to start school, Yet children who had lived in the area for a number of years didn't get a school place at all. How dose that work.

Faith based schools produce students who have experienced empathy based ethics within school, improving tolerance and equality. Surely this will be good for Staines.

I chose not to send my children to a catholic secondary, but I am sad for those parents at Our Lady of the Rosary who expected a Catholic secondary school and then did not get one.

This is a serious issue which is not being addressed by either the LEA or the Diocese of Westminster

I fully support this petition and believe places should be available for all children who are practicing and attend feeder schools

It is unfair that a practicing catholic child following their faith is unable to continue in a Catholic education as there is no spaces to accommodate.

Such a shame for the catholic families who are now in a position where they cannot continue a catholic education for their children. The admission criteria needs to be addressed along with catchment areas.

It is UNACCEPTABLE that kids are disallowed to continue their catholic education because neither Surrey Council and Spelthorne Council authorities together with the Westminster Diocese authorities CANNOT enable this continuity for those who are interested in!

I strongly support this petition. Children from practising Catholic families should have ready access to secondary school places in Catholic secondary schools, and not be penalised by distance from Catholic secondary schools.
