This provision Must stay available for the Catholic community....the government must address the desperate lack of funding for schools.

In my opinion if the Catholic secondary schools had feeder schools, this problem would be eradicated...

Current admissions put the children in our area at a huge disadvantage.

We have first hand experience this year of how very true this is, and now need to appeal for our daughter to be able to continue in a Catholic education.

Spelthorne is not currently served sufficiently for catholic families looking to maintain a catholic education for their children.

There needs to be a change of the kind described in the petition to ensure children in Staines and Stanwell have an equal access to the Catholic education their parents have chosen for them. It is not acceptable to be penalised on distance when there are no nearer catholic schools.

My daughter in year 6 will not be able to go to a sencondary catholic school as the only 2 catholic schools are about 4 km away and full with other applicants. Is that fair?

Attending a local Catholic Church with my 2 children for our families faith & our Catholic community connections it was an obvious choice for us to have a Catholic education. To think that this may not be continued following infant & junior education due to lack of space in Spelthorne Catholic secondary School is concerning. I feel for this reason the entrance school criteria within Spelthorne needs to be closely looked at. Children & families are missing out on the faith education they’d planned & hoped for.

This is an extremely important matter which needs everyone’s attention. This should hopefully highlight current issues which need addressing.

This is a very important issue which needs to be resolved as soon as possible. As stated, the impact of the current situation is far reaching and detrimental to both our children and the local Catholic community.
