Children in Ashford & Staines have a direct bus route on the 216 bus enabling them to reach school safely & cost free which is help to low income families. Most important of all no child should be stopped from going to a school where they can continue to learn in a school of their faith when they are practising Catholic’s when children of other faiths or no faiths are getting places

It is imperative that Catholic children be allowed tocontinue their Catholic education in the appropriate school.

As catholic and having my daughter in a catholic school, I should have preference over other faith or circumstances to have a guaranteed space in catholic schools.

My son is at St Paul’s and we live in Staines and dismayed that in this years intake only siblings got in, if your children follow the Catholic faith through primary school surely they should have the choice to carry this further through secondary school and obtain a place

It is unfair that the children cannot get a place at a Catholic Secondary School purely based on where they live .

This problem was entirely predictable many years ago when we struggled to place our own children. It is their children who are now placed in a worse situation. It is time for real action to solve this issue definitively.
