Why company take away something free to keep the crew morale? Stupid

I want my trump card back!

I am so upset! Is this the way to improve crew morale? By taking away a well-deserved reward from the crew who ensure their fitness to fly and don’t randomly go sick because — it’s the weekend/a public holiday/don’t want to do a particular flight/don’t want to work with a particular crew/family and friends visiting/not in the mood to work/were unable to swap in for a desired flight. We take the chance and do all our flights not thinking about who we are working with— even if they are known to be unprofessional, unapproachable and unreasonable or are not motivated leaders. We jump into that fire knowing we may even not get our rightful recognition for our professionalism in terms of CPP. I am by no means taking away from my colleagues who are genuinely not well. I strongly urge ISD Management to reverse this demoralising decision and maintain the status quo of our Trump Card system. I am not sure there is any realisation on the part of ISD the extent to which it motivates us to be immensely proud to go to work day after day, with renewed energy and with the knowledge that we can use our reward to get our preferred days off, flights, regular G days. Not a single policy change before this by ISD has made me feel how little my productivity and effort to remain healthy matter. It puts into question your entire Life Well Travelled philosophy... because at this time we have been made to feel insignificant and our sincerity irrelevant and this certainly does not sit well with many of us. And also makes me wonder about the lessons in how to remain healthy given in generous doses by the Attendance Management Team so that crew may return to flying. I want ISD to retain trump cards as reward for full attendance. Thank you

The trump card makes a world of a difference for us crew. Please spread the word to others.

If no more trump cards, crew may no need to swap anymore and they just report sick easier before flight. Company may think that they can arrange standby crew. However, it must creates more & more workload to different parties. Please keep trump card system in order to motivate crew who are willing to work all the time. It's not too much to ask indeed.

Attendance is the only fair system to show crew performance. CPP? WTF!

Why remove the trump cards? Why not just add more rewards, make it better or incorporate other incentive to crew? I believe crew have valuable, acceptable ideas and suggestions on motivational rewards.

Trump card is suppose to be a reward but now it turn out to be a penalty for those who work hard for the company. Put aside the abolishment of the system but is this the respect and acknowledgement that we deserve?? The decision was made without a single participation from the crew community or FAU and we are the main user of this system, is this what the company think we are worth? If they can just abolish or change whatever they like anytime, I really wonder what will be their next move to cut cost? Change hotel? Change pattern or even share room in the future just to torture us while the management get millions of bonus every year? We can't let this infection deteriorate. We must stay united and fight for our rights

Trump card is not easy to attain , but with this fabulous reward system , cabin crew are motivated to stay fit and healthy. Phasing Trump system without consultation is one way to encourage crew to now report sick. What’s next after this?

Trump card is a encouraging and rewarding programme to those who have full attendance. Crew community was not notified before this decision was made, no collection of opinions was done. It is so disappointing, another big disappointment after not sending emails to the card holders regarding the details of distrupted patterns. Where the respect is? Another point is, what will the replacement be? How would the PBS work? Other than just attendance, what criteria will also be consideted under the new system? More details should be given before phrasing out the current one. The most important thing is, please listen to the crew comunity since this is a reward and recognition programme for us, we know what we want and what we need better than anyone else, please respect and listen to us!!!!!!
