I think this statue will add beauty to the area as the statue on 13th St Hermosa Beach.

Classic Event should be supported and embraced by the community and also have a classic statue to match.

Beautifully written letter from Jeff Cutler. My family has know Jeff for many years, I have personally paddled with Jeff and the other Donkeys. The 'Classic' is just that. The statue is a great honor to the watermen and women who have challenged the elements and the tremendous camaraderie developed and lasting a lifetime.

Two time finisher '07-'08. Two time participant with the Wounded Warriors 'relay' team. Escort 'boat captain' for Matt Walls, Tim Ritter and Scott Rusher.
