It's class and social warfare forcing the people who can barely afford anything, to purchase highly priced smog equipment
It's also a economical stimulus making everyone who wants to survive in California to be forced to purchase a newer car, vs maintaining.
It's partially some of our fault for not voting, and being proactive with politics

it's hard enough as it is to keep cars 1985 or lower up to date in smog emissions. the parts are becoming expensive and sparse every year now.

hey it's the economy....at least allow to buy parts or give us jobs that will allow us to buy your damn electrics. ever hear of history? imagine being able to teach a child when they see an older car on the road....bring back the exemption. now.

Not a lot of people have money to buy new car. I'd love to keep my car as long as it runs. I take good care of my car because I want to keep it for ever.

Our elected officials need to do their job and go after factually proven big polluters instead of giving them a pass and then when they fail to clean up the environment go after the little guy.
