OPPOSE 296 apartments at Ridgeway Ave and Westport Rd.

Need green space more than development!

The traffic at this intersection is already precarious and adding that many units will create a huge hazard. Not to mention a major issue when trains are running.

I am not in support of this new housing development given the adverse impact it will have on the existing neighborhood.

Now - Nursery and green space. Proposed - Apartment complex eyesore. Bad idea!

This would only add more traffic to what is already a very busy residential Ridgeway Avenue, not to mention the buildings which would be so out of character with our Saint Matthews neighborhood.

This project would adversely affect traffic in this entire area, especially when a train goes through and backs up traffic in all directions. The many businesses in this area would also be affected. This project is a bad idea for this site.

There’s no way that location could handle additional traffic.

As a frequent walker in this neighborhood I strongly oppose this development.

Very concerned about the negative environmental impacts and increased traffic, especially with the trains.

Please consider reducing the number of units on this property. This community is in great need for single family, patio homes which would not impact an already congested area.

Please schedule a public hearing on this rezoning proposal.

Green space prevents urban claustrophobia and makes all our properties and lives worth more. I live in such an area. It matters - every day

This area is already VERY congested. Traffic is bad at almost all times of the morning, day and evening. We need more studies/research done on where complexes/housing should be added based on traffic patterns.

Terrible idea. That road and the area cannot handle the additional traffic it will bring.

Has there been a traffic study conducted to determine the impact of 300 cars exiting onto a two-lane road at the intersection with a railroad crossing? Traffic now backup in all directions while freight trains slowly wind their way into and out of the railroad yard. Can you say gridlock? This intersection only works now because of the low number of vehicles and because everyone who lives in this neighborhood knows to use their turn signals to allow others crossing the tracks to anticipate their intentions, and assist in negotiating this RR crossing in the intersection. This is one of my concerns.

I oppose the building of this apartment!

We need green space . . . a park.

No apartments! What a nightmare with train tracks, Trinity HS, Holy Trinity Elementary (largest Catholic Grade School) and congested Hubbards Lane. Insane

Westport Rd has too much traffic on it now !!

Westport Rd is already congested terribly. The infrastructure is not in place to support the addition of this many residents.
