I do not support any plan for more apartments in St Matthews. Traffic in the proposed area is already a nightmare.

This is a very difficult intersection with a railroad crossing, and a high school a block away. There is no way this intersection can handle a block of apartments, and not to mention they will be five stories, which is totally inappropriate for the area and will tower over the established neighborhood houses. We will also be losing an important green space that is home to many animals that have been pushed out of their habitats. I have been told that research was done and one of these animals as a protected species.

Westport rd is already heavy with traffic, particularly because of nearby on/off ramps for I265. More apartments would not remedy this situation. The green space to be removed and the building height proposed are also major issues for the surrounding homes, which would significantly reduce their value.

Where would all those cars go? Talk about a traffic nightmare. The proposed building is too big for the area.

This property would create a traffic nightmare at an already very busy intersection. It is also too tall for this neighborhood.

I oppose the addition of this apartment complex due to an already crowded corridor of traffic on Westport Rd. Please retain this natural green space as is.

The traffic on Westport Road is out of control without adding more apartments. Frustrated people running red lights on Westport & Ormsby is occurring constantly

There are apartments/condos being built that many have not sold. Lot of empty buildings. Why not save green lands and make parks.

I believe the congestion around that location will become intolerable, especially with the railroad crossing right there. There is a better, less intrusive use for that property

Definitely not a good idea to put a high rise there.

We are already at maximum density with traffic and have yet to see the impact of the new hospital being built that is going to definitely cause others to take an alternate route. Not to mention drainage issues with the lack of green space to absorb water.

I oppose the proposed apartment complex at Ridgeway and Westport rd. Based on traffic that is already bad. As well covering a green space and reducing water shed area.

I oppose this project. The plan to address increased traffic near a railroad crossing is unacceptable.

Traffic in this residential area is already congested enough. We don’t need additional traffic, especially right by the railroad tracks. The only people thinking this is a good idea are the ones who stand to make the big bucks.

This development will be a scourge on St. Matthews. The intersection is already confusing to maneuver and the train presents another obstacle, to name a few.

Traffic pattern is not appropriate for the area.

Too busy and too much traffic already. The current residents need safe space without so much. Would be nicer to have fewer apartments or small homes in that space.

There’s enough traffic on Westport Road as it is!

Build farther out please. This is a nice area already congested with condos, apartments and strip malls. The children need to ride bikes and play w/o any more danger
