OPPOSE 296 apartments at Ridgeway Ave and Westport Rd.

Very opposed to this project...this area desperately needs a dedicated park!

This parcel should be a park! What is NOT needed is an ugly generic cheaply built apt complex adding to traffic along an already tight corridor. What..so the city narrows otjer major roads yet now is ok w widening Westport to allow for extra congestion...at a RR crossing??

This project is absolutely too big for the residential area. At most it shpuld redo existing bldgs, add additonal in same.style and a large green space. This side of St Matthews has NO open space or park land

This area already has way too much traffic. We have a huge number of schools in the area and we cannot take any more traffic.

Trains coming through that intersection are already a huge traffic problem. With the huge complex intended a train will gridlock most of St. Matthews. Also, the fire department which is right at that intersection would be crippled in the event of a train passing. The number of trains passing through St. Matthews everyday is already a big enough interruption and frustration as it is. Also I only see one entrance into the complex and I thought regulations required two. I can’t imagine having a second entrance opening up onto Ridgeway (a small, quiet neighborhood street)!

On a weekly basis, sometimes more frequently, I almost get t-boned when crossing the rail road tracks due to cars not stopping at the stop sign at the intersection in front of 'Gilman's Point' - the infrastructure at this bottle neck does not support more residents along that section of road.

There are enough expensive apartment buildings in this city. This will cause more traffic and won’t serve as affordable housing which is desperately needed right now. I will be moving to this area this year and this project isn’t a necessary one.

This project threatens the integrity of our neighborhood. Please do not put profits over the people’s voices.

we do not want to lose the charm and character of Saint Matthews to overdevelopment of apartment buildings in an area that can not handle more traffic.

Dear City Council, I am a resident of St Matthews and would like to express my strong opposition to the proposed apartment development at Gilmans Point. This green space is one of the last remaining natural areas in our neighborhood. Its loss would have lasting consequences that cannot be reversed. Also, this development does not align with our community and will definitely alter the nature of the neighborhood.

SAVE THE NEIGHBORHOOD

Make this area a park. We do NOT need more development. We need consider the residents of this area.

I oppose this project in its entirety. Traffic is already become a nightmare during rush hour & this will only make it worse. Let alone problems with drainage.

We do not have the throughput to deal with the traffic as it is.

Imposing this development on one of the few remaining green spaces in this area is pure idiocy. Not only will it be physically out of scale with the surrounding established neighborhood, the additional traffic will add considerably more congestion at an already unconventional intersection. A roundabout at a railroad crossing?? Lunacy
