A New Caribbean Pro Basketball League "The Atlantic International Basketball Association" is coming to an island near you beginning in the Spring of 2008. The league will consist of 4 components: 1. A Pro League 2. A Premier Development League 3. A Super Y(youth) League 4. A Women\'s Development league. Strong emphasis will be placed on providing exposure to unrecognized Caribbean and Foreign athletes through the A.I.B.A\'s relationship with the NBA and European basketball leagues. The A.I.B.A. will focus on creating a strong grassroots youth sports & leadership development program, while impacting tourism in the Caribbean islands through an alternate means of quality and exciting professional sports entertainment. If one is interested in bringing professional basketball to one\'s native island, we are soliciting 1000 persons who can show their support by signing up as potential season ticket holders for the Caribbean team of their choice.
