Dear Commissioner Stern, We, the undersigned, ask you to create a one-one-one basketball tournament during the annual All-Star Weekend festivities. We believe that the edition of such an event would be highly enjoyable for the fans and engaging for the players themselves. You may decide how to best organize such an event: We merely wish to see the professional athletes we support briefly compete against each other, not as a team, but as individuals. The All-Star Weekend is an exciting time for any fan of the National Basketball Association, but we believe that the addition of such an event would highly increase the level of excitement during the weekend. This petition will be mailed, both electronically and physically, to the National Basketball Association on opening day of the 2008-2009 season.
