By signing this petition I agree to the creation of a carfree and truckfree promenade spanning Bedford Ave from Metropolitan Ave to McCarren Park. Carfree Bedford will be a pedestrian zone permanently blocked off to vehicular traffic (with the exception of emergency vehicles). The reclaimed public space will be for general public use, additional outside restaurant seating, and for public sculpture. I understand that this petition is reserved ONLY to the residents of Williamsburg, Brooklyn.
